Joe Miles, age 88, of Jefferson, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 11, 2014.  Joe was born Saturday, July 17, 1925 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He retired from the State of Florida as District Supervisor of Social Services for Dade County and was a veteran of the United States Army.  Joe is survived by Son: John and Nina Miles of Lula, Georgia; Daughter: Robyn and Wayne Parker of Jefferson, Georgia; Son: Joseph and Kim Miles of Miami, Florida; 2 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Joe Miles will be held 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Chapel of Georgia Cremation – Duluth, Georgia.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until service time at the chapel.   Georgia Cremation 3116  U.
