Minnie F. DuPree, age 73 of Atlanta, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 3, 2014. She was an extremely positive and inspirational woman who touched the lives of many people, often putting the needs of others before her own. She particularly enjoyed helping the homeless and single mothers. Her greatest passions were volunteering as an advocate for abused and neglected children and volunteering in the prison ministry at her church, Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral.
Minnie was preceded in death by her son, Rickye. Survivors include four children: Quentin, Heike, Kasona and Marc; one grandson, Brandon; and one great-grandson, Nevaeh. She also leaves behind her special companion, Daryl Daliet and a host of family and friends.
Minnie had a vivacious personality and loved life. She wanted to be celebrated while she was living and preferred not to have a funeral service.
She was a wonderful woman of God and will be greatly missed.
Condolences may be made or viewed at www.GeorgiaCremation.com . Georgia Cremation 3116 U. S. Highway 23, Duluth, Georgia 30096 is assisting the family with local arrangements (678)584-0914 .

Lorenzo King says
The beauty of a woman
Is not in the clothes she wears
The figure she carries
Or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman
Must be seen from her heart,
Because that is the doorway to the spirit,
An Elite woman of God who personified love in action
She was a true queen who gave unselfishly to others at the expense of self.
She lived to serve people who was the last, the least and the lost.
We all should learn this principle “while it is good to “sit” by an example it more important to “Set” an example. Her life was an example that we can all live and learn from.
I thank God for allowing Mrs. Minnie to serve with us in Prison Outreach. She ministered to hundreds of women and men in Georgia State Prisons each month. She spoke with Authority and walked in Authority. Countless of lives were won to Jesus Christ because of her bold witness. She will truly be missed by us all at Word Of Faith Worship Cathedral and the following prisons: Dooley State Prison, Metro State Prison, Lee Arrendale State Prison and many more!

Ms. Minnie was a great sister in the Lord, and a friend that will be dearly missed. To her children I say be “Strong in the Lord and in the Power of “HIS” Might.” We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. (II Corinthians 5:8) We KNOW,she is definitely present with the “LORD!”
Your Mom was LOVED by many.
Be Blessed!

I just wanted to send my condolences to the family. She will be truly missed, and she truly was an angel that walked along the Earth. I will always remember her warm and very encouraging words that were spoken to me , while guiding me into my destiny. Even though she was only in my life for such a short time. She was the greatest spiritual mom the Lord had blessed me with, but we release her back to Lord because her mission was accomplished here on Earth. I thank God for sharing the beautiful dove with the world. Peace be unto the family. I will always love you and miss you Mother Minnie! You were such a woman of great faith, integrity, and wisdom, that did not mind sharing it with the world!

Ms. Minnie. Although our service time together in the WOF FREEDOM MINISTRY was brief , I felt a bond to your Joy, Faith and Love from the time of our first meeting . As we waited for our escort to the Atlanta Transitional facility you shared some of your wisdom gained in your years as a servant in other prison ministries. I thank God for the time when God strategically positioned us together to cover our WOF leader Deacon Lorenzo in prayer as he inquired of the prison officials why we could not gain entrance to the prison for our schedule ministry time. Thank God for our paths that crossed:)

Ms Minnie was what I can honestly SAY, the only close and true friend that I had the pleasure and honor of having in my life who believed that we should speak the truth and let it have its way.
I met her at a time in my life where I was going through a rough time she taught me how to take the word of God read it and let it heal, encourage and deliver and bring me out of a horrific time in my life and because of that I’m now a successful business owner today.
Those of us at Word of faith that knew her and had the honor of fellow shipping with her knew that In the Body of Christ she left the earth as what we call a Virtuous and Powerful Woman of God she didn’t just speak the word of truth she lived it.
SHE WILL BE SADLY AND DEEPLY MISSED BUT WE KNOW SHE’S AT PEACE!
Minister Henry Anderson says

Ms Minnie will be missed. She was a bold woman
of God. She spoke what was in her heart. God had a
purpose for her, she fulfilled it and He dressed
her to come home. She is at peace and at rest.
I know she is still smiling. May the family smile
to carry her smile as a legacy.

I work with Minnie for many years at AT&T in New York. She was a breath of fresh air. Great sense of humor. No nonsense. I see that she went on to do many good things with her family and church. I liked her a lot and I respected her. I am saddened to hear of her passing.
Tiffany Youngblood says
Miss Minnie, I am honored to have met you. You were a true blessing from GOD to me. I really enjoyed talking about the word and watching Pastor Joel Osteen with you. You are truly going to be missed. Thank you for all of your prayers when my leg and back was in pain. I know you’re in the gates of heaven with your father. You were a woman of GOD and I enjoyed being around you listening to the wisdom you shared with me. Keeping the family in my prayers. Walk by faith and not by sight.

To the family of Ms. Minnie I send my condolences and will continue to pray for comfort and strength. To God Be The Glory, A job well done, one of His good & faithful servants, His beloved daughter Minnie, my sister in Christ, a wonderful Ambassador for Christ. The Father has called her home to rest with Him in Glory. Praise His Holy name. Hallelujah!
To the family, no need to worry or fret, no need to cry, Your Mother was a Mighty Warrior for the Lord God Almighty. She is well taken care of now. Just remember all that she has taught you, all that she has discussed with you at the table. Now it’s your time to take up where she has left off with the family & the generation coming up behind you. But most of all, in all that you do & say do it in Love and out of Love. Love is the greatest of all. Know that your mother was truly loved & known by many for the great work she did & the heart she had for all she came in contact with. She’s wearing her crown now. Be in peace, you will see her again in Glory. She is smiling down at you saying, “I’m alright Now. Singing praises to our God. Let the love of Christ fill your hearts & grant you peace in Jesus Holy name. Amen.
