Brenda Johnson, 63, of Monroe, Georgia went to her heavenly home on August 8, 2016. A Celebration of her Life will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 at 1197 Macedonia Church Rd. Monroe, GA 30656. Brenda was born on October 21, 1952 in Buford, GA. Brenda was a life long resident of Walton County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Doris Martin. Survivors are son, Wayne & Ieshea Johnson of Morgantown, Kentucky, son, Tracy Johnson and daughter, Mandy Chiado both of Monroe, Georgia; grandchildren, Ashley & Andrew Carter of Athens, Georgia, Amber Johnson of Savannah, Georgia, Isaac Nesmith, Aaron White and Cassidy White all of Morgantown, Kentucky, and Cameron Doster of Monroe, Georgia; great-granddaugher, Kendra Carter of Athens, Georgia; brother Lamar Martin, Jr of Monroe, Georgia; sisters, Debbie Martin Werner, Gail Crowe, Diana Sharp and Ann Kimble all of Monroe, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Brenda and I have known each other for about 12 years. I loved her so very much and we were so happy together when she lived with me for a couple of years. I will miss her but she is in a much better place. May God Bless her and her whole family.

My heart is broke. Brenda was there for me when I had no one to turn to. She treated me like I was her own and all never forget that. I feel whole heartedly that she is in a better place and I pray we meet again one day. Love you always sweet Brenda.
