RALPH LOUIS WINKLER
Ralph Louis Winkler, age 64, of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016. He was born on November 5, 1951 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ralph was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh – Johnstown with degrees in Electrical Engineering and Psychology. Ralph enjoyed fishing, gardening, photography and spending time at the beach. However, his favorite past time was spending hours in the kitchen creating new recipes.
Ralph was preceded in death by his father, Ralph William Winkler; his mother, Helen Sprehi Winkler Menzel; and his sister, Ruth Johnson (Wayne). Survivors include his wife, Deborah Winkler; step-daughter, Tara Doar (Darren); twin brother, William Winkler (Arlene); sister, Karen Reed (Bob); sister, Betsy Barkich (Jon); and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 6500 Sugarloaf Pkwy #260, Duluth, GA 30097 (770)814-0123 or www.cacner.org. My prayers and condolences go to Ralph’s family and friends. I met Ralph at UPJ and sometimes would share rides back and forth from Pittsburgh to Johnstown with him. I enjoyed his humor, laugh and thoughts on life. May God’s grace be with him.

I was saddened to hear of Ralph’s passing. I’ll miss seeing him in his yard and his casual waves and neighborly chats. At least, I know he is no longer suffering in pain. He and Debbie have been good neighbors for many years, so his absence will be greatly missed. I offer my support to Debbie as needed. I’m here for you. With deepest sympathy.
