Otha Lionel (Pete) Tullos of Prattville, AL (formally Wiggins, MS), age 84, died on July 10, 2017, in Fayetteville, GA, surrounded by his family.
Pete was born on November 10, 1932, in Sicily Island, LA. He enjoyed working in his garden, hunting, fishing, and watching the blue birds. He was a member of Highland Gardens Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL. Pete was a Veteran of United States Army and served in the Korean War.
Pete was the son of the late Otha and Elizabeth Tullos. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years: Mary S. Tullos; brother: Jimmy Tullos; sister: Louise Tullos. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law: Michile and Glenn Hunt of Jacksonville, FL; Deidra and Brian Bond of Senoia, GA; brother and sister-in-law: George and Karen Tullos; sister: Cleo Smith; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Robert and Sandra Sellers; four grandchildren: Drew (Kimberly) Hunt, Randall (Sarah) Hunt, Brooke (Matt) Hood, and Matthew Bond; four great-grandchildren: Jaxson, Lexie, Levi and Collier. He is also survived by his special family: Steve, Collie and Nate Wells. He cherished his nieces and nephews and loved hearing about what was happening in their lives.
A memorial service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Moore’s Funeral Home, Wiggins, MS. Friends may visit the family beginning at 9:00 AM, prior to the service. Burial will be at Ten Mile Cemetery following the services.
