I am saddened with this loss. My prayers are for comfort and peace to all of his family. Chappy was a great guy and I enjoyed working directly with him for a few years and will miss his upbeat, positive, and happy presence. I knew him as a giving person and not shy to help out someone when needed even if not convenient for him. Prior to his recent marriage, and working with him years ago, I remember he would often talk about Marco and how and what he was doing and I could tell his love for him was immense. I remember the excitement he had of his new wife -to-be as he looked forward to being a family together. God bless the entire family. Rest in Peace Chappy.

Your loss is our loss too – and hopefully, as the old saying goes, “grief, shared, is halved just as joy, shared, is doubled”. We’re all better for having known Chappy!

My thoughts and prayers goes out to the Chapman family. He always had a positive attitude with a ready smile for all those he encountered. One of my favorite memories of Chappy occurred whenever he saw me as I was going home, he would relay the current traffic conditions followed by the admonishment “go straight home!” Chappy and I would always break out in laughter over that.
He is truly a valued member of the Delta family.
    I will miss him.
