Wanda Day

Share

Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute.

Wanda Kay Day, age 57, of Hampton, passed away June 4, 2021.

Wanda was born on February 4, 1964 to the late Patrick and Sarah Berry. She grew up alongside a brother and two sisters. Wanda spent her early years as a homemaker and mother to four sons and one daughter. When she returned to the workforce she worked her way to Account Manager with IH Services.

Wanda was quiet but also feisty and strong-willed. She enjoyed her morning coffee and was a big NASCAR fan. She was especially fond of her driver Tony Stewart. Wanda was a wonderful mother and a devoted Nana. Her greatest loves in life were her nine beloved grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Heilig. She is survived by her children: Randy (Candice) Brewer of McDonough, Christopher (Brittney) Brewer of Jackson, Timothy (Jennifer) Brewer of Sharpsburg, Crystal (Kenneth) Cook of Peachtree City and Bryan (Sarah) Day of Hampton; grandchildren: Tristan, Grayson, Alyssa, Hannah, Kaemyn, Kaitlyn, Kendra, Kayden and Brady; sister: Patsy (Rocky) Clendening of Griffin; brother: Lee Berry of Madison; beloved pets: Bella and Layla.

Friends are invited to attend a wake at 5 PM on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 400 Preston Cove, McDonough, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wanda’s honor to the COPD Foundation (COPDfoundation.org). The Day family is being assisted by Georgia Cremation, 1086 Hwy 54 West, Fayetteville. Messages of condolence may be left at www.GeorgiaCremation.com.
