Jennifer “Sissy” Ethridge came into this world like a Tasmanian devil and never slowed down. She had a wild spirit that refused to be tamed and a heart just as large as her spirit was wild. She will forever be remembered for her smile, her ever changing hair color, her love of life and her giving heart. You may have lost touch with her over the years, but she seemed to always pop up when you needed her the most and often when you lease expected it. She loved people in her own different way, but her love never wavered. We all have gained an angel, but I know she will always especially watch over the legacy she was so very proud of.

Jennifer has left behind two amazing sons, Jeffery Ethridge and James Ethridge; four incredible grandchildren, Aryanna, Jianna, Roman and Michael, who will always have their “LuLu” watching over them; sisters, Janet Ethridge and Teresa Jones; and many cousins, adopted family and friends that will miss her dearly.  We know she is at peace.

Jennifer was met at Heaven’s gate by her parents, James Merrill Ethridge and Jackie Pruitt Ethridge along with many loved aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who have gone on before her.

If she could say one thing to those left behind, she would say:

“It’s sad to only find out how very much you were loved by so many when it’s too late, so take the time to make that call, send that text, visit that loved one and tell them how important they are to you. One day their time here on Earth will be done, and it will be too late.”

A Celebration of Life will be held at Jones Bridge Park on Sunday, March 6, 2022 beginning at 3:00 PM with a cookout and the service beginning at 4:00 PM. We will be in an open area so please bring a chair or blanket.  All are welcome!
