Mary Beth Lingo, 79, of Columbus, Georgia passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday July 8, 2023.
During her active years she raised two beautiful daughters with her loving husband, Yvonne. She enjoyed many hobbies to include: Crocheting, Knitting, Reading books (She loved the mystery books famously encouraging others to read The Big Eddy Club by David Rose, something natives of Columbus, Georgia have heard a story or two about), and also Jigsaw puzzles. She had a plethora of knowledge about history that many would love to sit and listen to, she could go on for hours with stories. She greatly enjoyed her cats; Sammy, Fox, Speedy, Little Girl, Booger, CoCo, Gracie, and Tater Tot. After her retirement, she devoted herself to watching her one and only grandson, Dylan Wade, whom she thought the world of. Mary, “Grandma”, “Grandma Mary”, Mom, and “Mama” are the names she answered to, and the names we will miss calling out to her, she left a mark on each person’s life that were close to her in various different ways, she will be greatly missed, but we are also rejoicing in the fact she is now in her loving Eternal Home with those whom have passed and she has missed.

You left a mark on my life forever, I will forever cherish the memories of conversations with you, the memories of you and Dylan Wade going through old photographs, your laugh, and the way you loved your little mini Dylan Wade, Luke. You will be greatly missed. Give Dylan a HUGE hug from Luke and I, tell him we miss him and we love him. I know you’ve got the biggest smile seeing all the ones you have loved and missed so deeply! 🖤
