Harry Leslie Bell passed from this life August 7th 2024. Les was born in Sweetwater, Tennessee on March 27th, 1949 to parents Harry and Marjorie Bell.
He was known as Harry to many, but known as Les to family. On September 21, 1979, Harry married the love of his life, Wenonah. The couple met in Evansville, Indiana, spending many years there before moving to Georgia in 1990. They spent a happy 44 years together, building their family with their children Leslie and Tyler.
Les worked in auto parts for over 50 years. He spent some time working for ISW and owned Bell Auto Parts. He retired as vice president of sales and marketing at Parts Central. Harry enjoyed golf, classic cars, and watching NASCAR. Over the years he had many dogs that were special to him including; Lad, Barney, Charlie, Sparky, Ewok, Rayna, and Oscar.
Les was preceded in death by his parents; Harry O. Bell and Marjorie Bell, his sisters; Barbara Nichols and Clarice McJunkins, and brothers; Terry Bell and Mike Bell.
He is survived by his loving wife; Wenonah Bell, his children; Leslie Mobley of Brooks, GA and Tyler Bell of Powder Springs, GA, his grandson; Sawyer Mobley, his siblings; Pat Nance (Phillip) of Evansville, IN, Marilyn Wattenbarger of Sweetwater, TN, Carol Bell of Sweetwater, TN, Chris Bell (Cherie) of Franklin, GA and Jeff Bell of Sweetwater, TN.
The family will host a celebration of life on October 19, 2024. Les will be remembered as a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal.”
Donations can be made to Southwest Christian Hospice Care in lieu of flowers. The family wants to extend their gratitude to SWCC for their care of Mr.Bell.
The Bell family is being assisted by Georgia Cremation-Fayetteville.

I was so sorry to hear that Harry had passed away. I worked with him at Parts Central for many years. He was a wonderful person to work with, and he became a good friend. I gave a donation to Southwest Christian Hospice Care in his memory. May God bless you all in this time of sorrow.
