I miss aunt Corki dearly. She was a mentor to me in the early days of my real estate career. She was kind to people and animals. She was one of a kind.

I met Corki around ten years ago as my sister and I were going to buy a house. We never was able pool our money together so the house never got purchased. In spite of a lost sale, Corki still was a friend to me through these past 10 years. She would send me a quick little email or a text message with a pretty plant or flower that meant so much to me. About a year ago, I confided to her that during this time I was experiencing some of my darkest moments. One day in particular, I felt life was not even worth living but for some strange reason I checked my email and there was a beautiful flower Corki had sent me. It was at that moment, I felt someone out there cared about me and took time out of their busy day just to cheer up someone they never made any commission from, someone they never met. I am so glad that when we did talk over the telephone ( which was very rare)I told her how she saved me that dark day. God allows people to cross our path at the right moment for a purpose. That was Corki. It sounds so simple, but for me she saved me that dark day. Rest in Peace dear friend and may you be surrounded for eternity with all the beautiful things heaven has to offer…including animals and of course flowers of different colors no human could ever describe.
