September 14, 1950 – October 22, 2024
Eufaula, AL – Henry White Jr. 74, of Eufaula Alabama, died peacefully Tuesday, October 22nd at his residence.
Born September 14, 1950 at Martin Army Hospital, Fort Benning, GA, Henry was the son of Henry White Sr. and Jewel Emma Lott.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Marcia Lovely and Patricia Germann.
Survivors include, his loving caregivers brother-in-law, Lewis Germann and his wife Pollyanna Germann; sister, Donna Bridge and brother, David White. He is also survived by his nephew, Brian Germann and his niece, Kara Connover. Henry is also survived by many other nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces across the country.
Everyone who met Henry will always remember him for his kind heart, his gentle spirit, but most
of all, how he always put others before himself. Henry White Jr. lived his life in a way in which
we should all strive to live. 1 Corinthians: “No one should seek their own good, but the good of
others.”
Henry loved music and was able to name many of the artists and song titles to the Oldies.
When he heard a song that he really loved, he would raise his left hand above his head to show
heartfelt emotion. He spent countless hours watching Westerns on TV. Henry pitched-in
around the house and always asked if any help was needed. Although Henry was small in
stature, he was amazingly strong and he had a strong grip. Every morning, he would get up
with a positive attitude and make coffee that was so thick, the spoon would almost stand up in it.
He would literally stir the coffee for 20 to 30 minutes. He loved instant coffee and coffee from
Burger King. He loved eating Vanilla Ice Cream (he did not like chocolate ice cream), Oatmeal
Pies, Potato Chips, Reese’s Cups, Cheetos Puffs and drinking Coke and Pepsi products. He
would often say how much he loved everything…his snacks, his room, his house, the cat
(Weenie-that he often called “MEEZIE)”. Anytime he could not remember the name of a person,
he would often call them MEEZIE too.
Although we know Henry is with his heavenly father and in a perfect body, we all will miss him
greatly. No one could ever fill his SLIPPERS.
No memorial service will be held.
Georgia Cremation – Columbus is assisting the family with arrangements.

Henry,
Not a day will pass that you will not be remembered! Thank you for bringing so much joy and happiness to my life! You were such a kind, caring and loving friend to me each day! You will be greatly missed, beyond the valley! I will cherish our memories watching Westerns and listening to the Golden Oldies forever!
