It is with great sadness that the family of Daphlene Golden announces her passing on October
24, 2024 at the age of 87 in her home in Box Springs, GA.

Daphlene is preceded in death by her husband Daniel S. Golden and her eldest son Darryl K.
Golden. She is survived by a brother, Henry Dalton Pollock, her sons Ronny and Marty Golden,
her two granddaughters Jessica (Jose) and Melody (Trevor), and her great-granddaughter Alaina.

Daphlene was probably best known by the name “Granny.” She was a homemaker and a loving
family woman who will be dearly missed. Whether cooking elaborate meals, baking and
decorating desserts with her granddaughters, or just spending hours with her family talking on a
front porch while petting a family pet, she embraced the simple joy of a calm life in the country.

No public service will be held.
