Elizabeth “Bucky” Darlene Bibey, 75, of Columbus, Georgia, departed this world on December 20, 2024, at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bucky’s life on January 11, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Gray’s Bar in Columbus GA.

For many years, Bucky worked as a metal fabricator and was an avid Alabama football fan, ROLL TIDE. Bucky also adored and cherished her four-legged best friend “Little Buck.”

Bucky was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Bibey, mother Bertha McGuire, and her sister Linda Bibey Hunter.

Survivors included her loving partner Jayne Dolighan of Lizella GA, son Russell Dolighan of Mililani HI, sister Bonnie Cranfill of Smiths Station AL, brother Junior McGuire (Amy) of Smiths Station AL, brother Keith McGuire (Amie) of Phenix City AL, nephew Kevin McGuire (Christy) of Phenix City AL, nephew Darrell Hunter (Heather) of Smiths Station AL, nephew Christopher McGuire of Smiths Station AL, niece Emily McGuire of Phenix City AL, nephew Luke McGuire of Phenix City AL, and seven great nieces and nephews. Bucky was also survived by two special friends Al Albino and Sunnie Shull.

Georgia Cremation – Columbus is assisting the family with the arrangements.
