Charolette Carter passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024 with her children by her side. The oldest of three siblings, she was born in Tahlequah Oklahoma at the Old Indian Hospital.

She attended Tahlequah High and graduated from Wakefield High in Arlington, Virginia. In 1962 she married Hugh Austin and they had two children. They moved to Bremen, Georgia and were divorced 14 years later. She then moved back to Tahlequah where she met and married Jerry Carter.

She helped him run his Used Car Business and also enjoyed traveling to Bulgaria and importing Pottery. They both loved and attended Cornerstone Fellowship. She moved back to Georgia when her husband passed away in 2017 where she doted on her 5 grandchildren.

She has been preceded in death by her parents Dan and Ada White.Charolette is survived by her children, Angela Rooks and husband Jeff Rooks of Griffin, Georgia; Steven Austin and his wife Tonia Austin of Griffin, Georgia; Sister, Susan Pippin of Parkhill; Brother, Michael White and wife Cheryl White of Tulsa; step children, Merry Carter and Galen Carter of Parkhill and wife Shannon. Beloved Grandchildren, Austin Raybon, Payne Austin and Price Austin; Shane Messinger, Dustin Butler, Hannah Markiewicz and Ashton Gregory. Plus her sweet Great Grandbabies, Caroline and Rooks Raybon. She also especially loved her Aunt Doris Matlock of Tahlequah and Charlie and Margaret Dunn of Parkhill.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that bequests be given in honor to Cornerstone Fellowship.
