It is with immense sadness that the family of Lynda Gail Missildine, of Cusseta GA, must announce her sudden passing on January 19, 2025. She had just turned 43 years old on January 5, 2025.
Lynda was a beautiful person inside and out and her spirit will live on in the hearts of so many left here on this Earth to mourn her memory. She loved her family dearly and she never met a stranger. She had a heart of gold and a kindness for people that few could mimic. She loved to make people laugh and her faith in God was strong. She loved music and had a beautiful voice and loved singing, dancing and creating Tik Toks. Lynda was a very creative and artistic soul that loved working with her hands whether it was refinishing furniture, creating flower gardens, landscaping, working on cars or her love for genealogy.
Lynda leaves behind a son and daughter-in-law; Erick and Alyssa Flowers of Columbus, a daughter; Trinity Madison Wood of Cusseta, 2 grandchildren; Sinopa and Kairi Flowers and 2 more grandchildren on the way; Neal and Ezmeraya. Her parents; Gary and Brenda Missildine of Cusseta, sister and brother-in-law; Kelly and Keith Knight of Waverly Hall, brother and sister-in-law Casey and Amelia Missildine of Cusseta and many nieces and nephews.
Lynda, you were taken away from us way too soon and you will be remembered and thought of often by all who loved you.
A memorial service is scheduled for 12:00 pm on February 1, 2025 at Cox Funeral Home 240 Walton Street, Hamilton, GA followed by a graveside service at 3:00 pm at Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, GA. All who loved her are warmly invited to join family and friends in remembering her and celebrating her life.
Georgia Cremation – Columbus is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Trinity, baby girl I so wish I could be there with you. Next time you come this way call me. I’ve got my heart and arms wrapped around you. When I first became aware of you it was through my granddaughter Kenzie. Yall were a lot alike. Since then I’ve welcomed you into our family as my 5th granddaughter. Your mama will be with you the rest of your life. If you lay down each night, in the quiet talk to her. And wait, you’ll feel her spirit reaching for you. I’m always here for you and that precious baby coming in April.

While I haven’t seen you since I was in high school with your sister, I have often seen your postings & think of you hanging around us back then. Always lurking & laughing. Whatever to mimick your sister, in fun . I hate hearing that you have left us. I pray your family recovers and heals from your loss & most certainly you will be missed. ❤️
