Robert Glenn McKinley, 51 of Cusseta, GA passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 in Columbus.
Robert was born April 20, 1973 in Heidelberg, Germany the son of Walter and Linda Roland McKinley. He moved to Cusseta in 1979 and had worked at Chattahoochee Concrete and served as Public Works Director for Chattahoochee County. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter McKinley.
Robert is survived by his wife, Martha Baker McKinley; his children, Tyler Bruce (Hannah), Brandon McKinley (Andrea) and Hannah McKinley; grandchildren, Kolten Bruce, Mia McKinley, Leo McKinley, Fox McKinley and Nico McKinley; his mother and her husband, Linda and John Proffit; siblings, Donna McKenzie (Allen), Walter McKinley (Julie); sisters-in-law, Tami Watson (Jerald), Tonia Mullins (Tim), Michelle Quarles (Robby), Andi Clayton (Shane) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank Columbus Hospice for their care and services during Robert’s illness.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 2pm at the home of Linda and John Proffit, 166 Massey Road, Cusseta, Georgia.
Georgia Cremation, Columbus is assisting the family.

Robert was the most funniest person I have ever met. Him and my hubby have been besties for 20+ years. This is so hard on us and I cant imagine what his family is going through. Lord please help his family get through this! The good always are taken too soon 😞

I met Mr Robert as he was a part of many events together. He was a members of the Latavia clothes Closet Board. May he rest in peace.
