Anthony “Tony” Michael Duncan, age 82, of Alpharetta, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Tony was born June 19, 1942, in Hoschton, Georgia, to the late William Victor and Beatrice Emmaline Tiner Duncan. Tony is a veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors include children Kevin (Chi) and Keri (Patrick) and grandchildren Simon, Sage, Liam, Joanna, and Wesley.
Tony will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather, caring neighbor, friend, and someone who touched so many lives. “Though you are gone, the love you gave us remains, a beautiful reminder of your presence in our lives.”
Memorial services, with military honors, will be held Saturday, April 26, at 1:45 pm at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road SW in Lawrenceville with Rev. Patrick Valentine officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, April 26, from 1:00-1:45 pm.

Georgia Cremation in Duluth is assisting the family with arrangements.

I’ve only been in Tony’s presence a handful of times. What I remember is a handsome, vibrant man who loved to share his adventurous stories. He was quite the charmer, as well.
I know his family will miss him and I hope their memories will help them heal.
