We are saddened to learn of Lanny’s death on Tuesday, 4/22/2025.

Lanny was born in Atlanta, Georgia on 7/8/1941 to Elizabeth (Betty) Few Finch and (Emmett) Landrum Finch. He attended Druid Hills High School. From there, he studied at Georgia Tech and earned his degree in Electrical Engineering. He used his degree to program the flight simulators for Delta Airlines, where he worked for twenty eight years.

Lanny is survived by his sister (Marilyn Armstrong), his brother (David Finch), and his two daughters (Lori Coyne and Stephanie Christian). His other brother, Jimmy (James Few Finch) preceded him in death only five months ago.
