It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cedrick Phillips, 48 of of Columbus, GA. Cedric passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025. Cedric was a loving soul and a kind-hearted man born to the parents, Lonza Phillips and Linda Oates in Panama City, Panama on May 13, 1977.  At a young age he and his military family relocated back to the United States of America, where he attended Carver High School and showed exhilarating passion and excitement towards the industry of electronics.

Cedric is survived by his son, Cedric Phillips, Jr., a grandson, mother, Linda Oates, father, Lonza Phillips (Belinda), grandmother, Mary-Louise Ross, brothers, Kelada Solomon, LaDale Phillips (Jacinda), Sidney Phillips, four nieces, three nephews, aunts and cousins.

Cedric’s memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends. His spirit will continue to aspire us all. In our hearts, he continues to live. A service to celebrate Cedric’s life will be 12:00 pm. Friday, September 26, 2025 at Cox Funeral Home, 240 Walton St., Hamilton, GA 31811.
