Dolores Sprouse Jenkins, entered into rest, November 29, 2025.
Dolores was born on May 5, 1931, in Girard, Alabama to the late, Louis R Sprouse and Maria Aguilar Sprouse. She grew up in Alabama and Arizona.
She worked in her husband’s business of 37 years. Later, she worked for Arrow Willis Exterminators, for 14 years, where she was not only respected for her hard work but also valued as family. Always, an avid fan with unwavering loyalty for Alabama’s, Crimson Tide, and The Atlanta Braves. She enjoyed traveling, needlework, reading and listening to country music. Especially George Strait and Marty Robbins.
Dolores was a woman of faith, strength, and compassion. Always working, serving, taking care of family and others with a generous heart. A devoted wife, Mother, Grandmother, and a treasured friend. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Her devout faith was her foundation.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, George P Jenkins. Her daughter Georgia Stuckey Wynn, her son, Raymond Jenkins, her sisters, Madeleine Yanez, Elizabeth Benjamin, her brothers, William R Sprouse, Daniel Sprouse, and many loved ones she rejoins in peace.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynn Parke, her son Joseph Jenkins (Teresa) and daughter Soni Smith (Brent). Her Grandchildren, Audrey Ewing (Andrew), Brandi Stuckey Weaver (Josh), Jonathan Parke (Noelia), Nicholas Parke (Joni), Heather Bergeron (Andrae), Jessica Jenkins, Raymond Sutton, Carson Minton, Chandler Minton (Ramsey) and many Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
A private Celebration of Life event will be announced at a later date.
Georgia Cremation-Columbus is assisting the family with the arrangements.
