Sadie Gail Brewer, precious daughter of Blake Matson Brewer and Alyssa Madison Brewer, was born on January 8, 2026, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. She passed away on May 21, 2026, at the age of four months.

Though her time here on earth was far too short, Sadie filled the lives of her family with immeasurable love, joy, and light. She was deeply loved from the moment her family knew of her, and every day with her was a gift that will be treasured forever.

Sadie will be remembered for her sweet smile, her little coos, her snuggles, and the comfort of feeding and contact naps. She loved being close, wrapped in her pink floral blanket, and held by the people who loved her most. Her tiny presence brought a love bigger than words, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, Michael “Bubs” Collins II.

The family left to cherish her memory are her loving parents, Blake and Alyssa Brewer; her brother, Samuel Brewer; her grandparents, Kelli “Gogay” and Joe “Papa” Vanhouter, Michael “Peepaw” and Kimberly Collins, and Matt “Pops” Brewer and Jacqueline “Gigi” Hancock; her great-grandparents, Danice “Nan” Hancock and Betty “Granny” Coulter; her aunt, Payton “Pay Pay” Brewer; and many family members and friends who loved her dearly.

Though Sadie’s life was brief, the love she gave and received will never fade. She will be loved forever, missed always, and carried with us every day.
