Marshall Jay Gregg, 70, of Hapeville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2026. He was born in Syracuse, New York, on December 29, 1955, and grew up primarily in Neptune Beach, Florida. Marshall was a graduate of Fletcher High School and Florida State University.
Marshall enjoyed golf, travel, whitewater rafting, and live music concerts. He had a love for sports and attended many baseball and football games throughout his life. He would travel to Cincinnati every year to attend a Reds baseball game with treasured friends.
Marshall leaves behind his sister, Dana Gregg Busser (Michael); brothers, Barry Gregg, and Spencer Gregg (Andrea); niece, Lara Labukas (Jim); nephews, Zachary Busser (Kyra), Tanner Gregg (Paige), Taylor Gregg (Meghan); and several great nieces and nephews. He will also be greatly missed by many cherished friends.
Marshall is preceded in death by his father, James E. Gregg and mother, Gloria C. Gregg.
Marshall’s quick wit, kindness, and love for his family and friends will be his legacy.
A celebration of his life will be planned for a later date.

Georgia Cremation in Duluth assisted the family with arrangements.
