LIFE STORY
Susannah W. Bailey, the former Mrs. Willis Callaway, died in Duluth, GA on July 30, 2017. She was born in Meridien, MS to the late Walter and Helen (Waits) Bailey. Susannah graduated from Headland High School in East Point, GA. A longtime resident of Cleveland and Nashville, TN, Ms. Bailey had a flair for decorating and was a wonderful cook. It was her love of cooking which took her to Nashville where she was a graduate of the Opryland Hotel Culinary Institute thus becoming a Certified Chef. Working for Christie Cookie in Nashville, Susannah developed a line of Gelato. She then partnered in Chefs’ Repertoire creating Savory Secret Cheesecakes.
FAMILY
Susannah was preceded in death by her daughter, LeeAnne (Callaway) Frazier, son in law, Greg Frazier and brother in law, John Green. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Callaway) Trupiano and her husband Gus of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Stephen Trupiano, Erin Trupiano, Scott (Emily) Frazier, and Grayson Frazier; and great granddaughter, Madison Trupiano. Susannah is also survived by her sisters, Nancy Lynn Bailey Green and Anne Bailey Taylor (David).
SERVICES
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday October 14, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Midway United Methodist Church, located at 5025 Atlanta Highway, Alpharetta, GA, www.midwayumc.org . The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for their tireless support.
