Alfredia Marie Nero was born on July 16, 1968, in the city of Lafayette, Louisiana. She was the first child born of three to Dorothy Nero Moore.
Alfredia was a very loving, and firecracker of a woman. Alfredia was blessed to have four beautiful daughters: Carletta, Jada, Niketta and La’Ryiah. She lived in several states, Louisiana, California, Texas and Georgia for several years, then moved to Columbus, Georgia and resided there for the remainder of her life.
Alfredia accepted Christ at an early age at Our Mother of Mercy Church in Church Point, Louisiana. Alfredia was employed by many different career jobs until she became a full-time homemaker. In her leisure time, she enjoyed reading books and listening to music. She loved to cook and spending time with her grandchildren, whom all had different names for her.
Alfredia passed peacefully on May 26, 2024, at the age of 55. She was preceded in death by her two siblings, brother, Joseph Moore and sister, Velma Moore.
She leaves cherished memories to her mother, Dorothy Nero Moore, daughters’, Carletta George, Jada Nero, Niketta Nero, La’Ryiah Nero all of Columbus, Georgia. Six grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.

My dear dear friend you was like a sister to me I never forget the first day I met you and Momma Dot at the furniture store when I worked at Wesley chapel in Decatur we became good friends because you was new to the area and new to Georgia We was always their for one another through good times and bad times You always used to tell me it’s going to be okay Sammy God got something good planned for us Let’s go get our nails done and hair done and go out and I always loved you for your good friendship and support We shared good times with our kids together It’s hurting me to know I couldn’t be there by your side to hold your hand I love you sis 😥💔🫶 RIP🙏🕊️

Alfredia, my niece with beautiful eyes! Everything happened so quickly and I still can not believe that you’re gone. You were the first grandchild in our family and my first real live baby doll. God has called you home and I know you’re with your siblings: Joseph and Velma and the rest of our family that has gone home to glory. May you RIP Alfredia and love you always.
