Adrienne Elvira Paris

Share

Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute.

Adrienne Elvira Paris, 81, of Fayetteville, Georgia, passed away on May 26, 2025. Adrienne was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 4, 1943, to parents; Lorenzo Pious and Burmadine Prestwood.

Adrienne spent the majority of her life in Chicago, Illinois. Chicago is where she met William Paris, first in grammar school, then again, many years later in life at a social event. The two would fall in love and marry, spending 26 wonderful years together. Adrienne worked for 36 years in the education environment and had many experiences in her role as an administrative secretary.

Adrienne was a part of the Catholic faith and would spend time at church functions and volunteering over the years. She loved fishing in her free time, as well as shopping, and always made sure to dress her best. Adrienne moved to Fayetteville, Georgia in 2019 alongside her best friend Deborah Mazique.

Deborah shares, “What a privilege I was given to witness 40 years of your life, love, and friendship. Until we meet again, rest in peace. Above all, to God be the glory. Love, Deborah.”

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Paris; her parents, Lorenzo Pious and Burmadine Prestwood; and her brother, Lorenzo Pious Jr.

She is survived by her sister, Marsha Henderson; her nephew, Martez Henderson; her cousins, Carliss Arnold and Yvette Sledge; and her best friend, Deborah Mazique (and family).

My condolences to Adrienne’s sister, Marcia and nephew, Martez and her closer friend, Debra.
I’ll cherish the memories of our family dancing the Bop ( now called Stepping) at family gatherings and her sneaky laugh when she’s was winning when we played games (cards and Bonanza).
Rest in Peace Adrienne and tell Burma I still miss her.

I regret I was not allowed to spend time with my sister as she was taken to Georgia away from all of her family. She was MY sister.I loved her .She had two nephews Cortez and Martez. We will miss her always. She had a first husband named Edward. A supposed best friend should have known her history or asked her family

My condolences to Marcia and Martez. As for my loving memories of my cousin. I recall how well she could Bop, Cha Cha, and do the Madison (that Prestwood staple). Also, like the Prestwoods’ before her, she loved to fish. She even taught me a few tricks. If you ever met her you know she had an infectious smile!
    RIP ADRIENNE ❤️

Special thanks to Deborah for stealing the money from my sister’s jewelry, her condo, her car my father’s home and his land. You ate not a relative. She never did what her relatives would not do. she stole her and moved her away so we could not do in order to steal everything that she had. You guys better know who Deborah is.You give thanks to Deborah for that. It’s obvious none of you know the thief that she is.
