Devoted husband, father and Popie.
Alfred (Al) was born in Lunenburg, MA. He grew up in the city of Fitchburg. When Al was 18, he joined the United States Army, he proudly served his country as a paratrooper. He belonged to the 82nd Airborne Division. He was stationed in Fort Bragg, NC. While visiting Atlanta he met the love of his life Emmalee Boyd after dating only 3 short months they married and moved to NC.
When Al was discharged from the Army, he and Emmalee moved to her hometown of Hapeville, GA.
Al became an electrician working for Kidd Electric Company for 15 years. After becoming a licensed master electrician, he started his own company B & R Electric. Al ran his business until he retired.
Al loved to sing and was a member of a gospel quartet, The Apostles. They sang at different churches and venues. They also wore polyester suits, floral shirts and white Paton loafers.
Al loved golf; he played every chance he had. He also loved working out at the gym with his friends every morning, well at least drinking coffee with his friends. Not sure how much working out was really done, however he did have a six pack until he was 85. Anyone looking for Al could find him at the nearest coffee pot.
Al was a loving husband to his wife Emmalee, when her health began to decline, he took such great care of her. They were such a loving couple, totally devoted to one another. Al was also a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Al was a founding member of Legacy Christian Church in Senoia, Ga. He proudly served on the security team and of course he was the weekly coffee maker. He loved Jesus, his family, his country, and his church and church friends. He attended small group (The Crew) every Wednesday morning.
Everyone that knew Al will miss him dearly. He is now healthy and strong and in the presence of Jesus with his beloved wife Emmalee for eternity.
Al is survived in death by his daughter Lorri Robinson, granddaughters Amy Bouchell (John), Alisa Head (William), Erica Westbrook (John), Alison Williams (Chris), Bethany Clayton (Dustin). Great grandchildren Emily Head, Bryson Sandefur, Madelyn Head, Caroline Westbrook, Fisher Williams, and Maisey Clayton.

John Bouchell says
I will always have fond memories of Al. He was a man’s man, and yet a teddy bear to all the women in his life. For many years Al’s passion was golf. Although he was right-handed, Al played golf left handed. His love of family and animals was reflected in his everyday life. He once helped me hand build a 6ft. privacy fence, board by board, when he was 70 and he darn near worked my 40 something body to failure. That was Al. Hard working, dedicated to family and his church, loved animals and the outdoors, and was always willing to lend a hand. I never had the privilege of having grand parents, they passed away before I was born. I always felt like God’s hand was in having Al Bushnoe as a “GrandFather in Law” and was truly a tremendous blessing. He was more than the grandfather I never had, he was a role model, a father figure, and a good christian example. Al was simply a wonderful human being. Although Al has moved on, his memory and the love I had for him will remain, as long as I shall live. His memory is in my mind, and his fondness is in my heart. God bless the family and all who morn our loss, and praise God for the beautiful life that was, and the beautiful spirit that is, Al Bushnoe.
