Ms. Alice “Nana” Edna Bradley, age 80, of Fayetteville, passed away on February 23, 2018.
Nana was born on September 21, 1937 in Pittsburg, PA. She was proud to have worked on the B-1 Bomber for Rockwell when it was first made. After that she moved to Las Vegas, NV where she became a professional Bingo Caller at a popular casino. She loved playing, as well as calling, Bingo. Nana also enjoyed shopping on QVC channel. The UPS driver will miss coming to her house every day! Nana was passionate about blackberry jam, so much so that her ashes will be laid to rest in a blackberry field.
Nana was preceded in death by her parents: Ralph and Violet Gould Baird; sisters and brothers-in-law: Ruth and George Shaffer, Grace and Bill Anderson; brothers: Karl Baird and Gerald Baird. Nana is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Linda and Bill Ellis; grandchildren: Kayla Ellis, Gordon Ellis and Teke Airhart; great-grandchildren: Journey, Jayden and Joslin; sisters-in-law: Betty Baird and Nancy Baird.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Southwest Christian Hospice (Christian City), who provided such excellent care for Nana during her final weeks of life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southwest Christian Hospice, 7225 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291.
A memorial service for Nana will be held at a later date. The Bradley family is being assisted by Georgia Cremation, 1086 Hwy 54 West, Fayetteville.
