Andrea Jean Crawford, 84, passed away peacefully on September 20th, 2026, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She was born in Madison, Wisconsin, on May 31st, 1942, to Bruno and Margaret Leporati. At age 2, Andrea and her parents moved to Camden, New Jersey, and then, at age 8, to Levittown, New York. As the family moved, it grew, and Andrea became the eldest of five siblings. She treasured her younger brothers (Bobby, David, Steven, and Michael).

Married to the late Robert Rago on February 9th, 1963, the couple is survived by their three children: Jeannine (Bruce) Payton, Deanna (Michael) Jones, and Brian (Stephanie) Rago.  The Rago family moved quite a bit in the early years: from Plainview, New York, to Fremont, California (1976), then to Arlington Texas (1979), and finally to San Jose, California (1983). The couple enjoyed 32 years together and travelled the world, until 1995. After moving to Tallahassee, Florida, Andrea met a fellow widower and, on February 1st, 1999, she was married to, and survived by, Gerald Crawford and his two children: Gerald, Jr. (Michelle) Crawford and Kimberly (Clayton) Collins. The couple spent time in Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia and had many adventures. She took boundless joy in being the grandmother to Casey, Erin, Collin, Haley, Courtnee, Autumn, Keira, and Alban, and great-grandmother to Hudson.

Andrea was a friend to everyone she met. She will be missed for a million reasons. A memorial service will be held at the Duluth First Methodist Church on Friday, September 25th at 2:00 pm.
