Anne Aldridge Williams passed away peacefully in Columbus, Georgia on August 15, 2026 at the age of 81.

Born in Richmond, Virginia to Lewis Rollins Aldridge, Jr. and Francine Breedlove Aldridge, Anne called Columbus, Georgia home for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Williams; her parents; and her siblings, Geraldine Hearn, infant brother Lewis Rollins Aldridge III, and Lewis Rollins Aldridge IV.

Anne is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Michelle Williams Hudson and her husband, Jeff, and by her cherished granddaughters, Ella and Avery, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Anne graduated from Columbus High School, Class of 1962, and attended the University of Georgia. She had a lifelong love of reading and could often be found with a good book in hand. She enjoyed the theater and appreciated the arts throughout her life. Anne’s greatest passion, however, was her love for dogs. Her home was rarely without several canine companions, each of whom was treated as a treasured member of the family. Later in life, Anne and her husband, Ken, enjoyed traveling together, making memories and exploring new places.

Anne will be remembered for her kind heart, her quiet strength, her love of family, and the warmth she shared with both people and animals. Her legacy lives on in those who knew and loved her, and she will be forever cherished.
