Ms. April  Yvonne Hill, 64, who departed this life Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Piedmont Midtown Hospital in Columbus, Georgia after a hard fought battle.

Ms. Hill was born July 24, 1957 in Youngstown, Ohio at Northside Hospital, daughter to the late Rose Marie Hill and Frank Hill. Formally, April Hill, was engaged to Alphonzo Harvey Sr., who many know as “Black.” She was a graduate of East High and attended Northside Technical College. She was a devout member of Promised Land Christian Ministries in Columbus, Georgia.

She leaves her children, Rose Royston, Nikki Muldrow, Simonna Hill, Dekelane Hill, Jerrenna Hill, Raven Davenport, Alphonzo Harvey, Jr., and God-daughter, Tawn Tally. She also leaves siblings, Frank Hill, Jr. and Sherry Ann Harris Elye (Mr. Ernest Gamble); eighteen beloved grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Cox Funeral Home, 240 Walton Street, Hamilton, GA 31811 with Pastor James Lee officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Flowers are being accepted and deliveries can be made directly to Cox Funeral Home in Hamilton, Georgia.
