Arvel Wallace Langdon,  74, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Canterbury Nursing Home.

Mr. Langdon was born August 6, 1948 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Jewel Langdon and James Buford Langdon. He worked as a truck driver for many years and drove a taxi prior to his retirement. He and his wife were avid poker players,  playing texas hold’em tournaments, and watching sports. He enjoyed spending time with family. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Sherry Langdon, son Jamie Langdon, sister Dale Dukes and brothers Byron Langdon and Buford Langdon

Survivors include: Son Jeffery Langdon and Walter(Bubba) Hall daughter Katherine Walston. Grandkids Hope Threlkeld, Heather Threlkeld, Hayley Talia, Miranda Deal, and Brandon Deal. Sisters Daphene Curlee and Sonja Hudson, as well as 9 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held July 12, 2023 at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery
