Benjamin Frank McMinn was born on May 10, 1928 to the late Jesse & Vera McMinn in Troup, Texas. Frank Passed away at the age of 95 on February 6, 2024 at Parkwood Nursing Home in Phenix City, Alabama. He was the last of 5 siblings.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 69 years; Marie, his parents, his brother, three sisters, daughter; Diane Chavarria, and grandchild; Tracy Marie Bonner.
He is survived by his daughters; Leta McMinn (John) Dempsey of Phenix City, Alabama, Sharron Groves of Bullard, Texas, his son; James McMinn of Phenix City, Alabama, grandchildren; Mike (Nicole) Dempsey, James Dempsey, Lonnie (Leilani) Groves, Aaron Groves, George Dempsey Jr., Mark Dempsey, Reyes Martinez, James Eugene McMinn, Noah McMinn, and Jamie Escalicas, 14 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The Family wants to extend a special thank you to the wonderful people of Gentiva Hospice of Phenix City, Alabama, and the many caregivers of Parkwood Nursing Home.
