Ms. Betty M. Andress, age 89, of Fairburn, Ga passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on March 14, 2019.
Ms. Andress was born in Summerhill on October 10, 1929 to the late Robert and Gertrude Davis. She was a devout Christian who touched many lives. She loved life and greatly enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ms. Andress gave selflessly of herself as a foster parent, which she enjoyed immensely. She spent her time doing the things she loved: crafts, baking apple pies, working in the yard, volunteering whenever she was called, gathering with friends and being a caregiver. She was generous with her love and time and could never turn away those who asked for help. Ms. Andress will be remembered as an angel on Earth. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.
Along with her parents, Ms. Andress was preceded in death by her daughter: Donna K. Mattive; sisters and brothers: Edith, Cedella, William, Raymond, Melvin and Fred. She is survived by her daughters: Patricia Gearheart of Berwick, Brenda Gearhart Bloom of Fairburn, Ga, Tammy Wright of Tarpon Springs, FL; sister: Alverna Fenstemaker of Millville; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
A Private memorial will be held at the convenience of her family at Pine Grove Cemetary, Berwick. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to T&D Cats of the World, P.O. Box 186, Penns Creek, PA 17862.
