Beverly Harrison, age 65, of Duluth, Georgia, passed away on May 19, 2019. Beverly was born November 25, 1953 to Johnny Elliot and Mattie Bell Harrison in New Haven, CT. She was one of six girls. Beverly graduated from Hamden High School in Hamden, CT, where she raised her two children, Tamille Barrett and Paul Harrison, and could be close to her mother and sisters. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to everyone that she encountered. She worked in the carpentry and weatherization industry until she moved to Atlanta, GA in 2001 to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. She loved cooking and being surround by her family.
Beverly is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Elliott; sisters, Jacqueline Teresa Turpin and M. Diana Harrison; and cousin, Cheryl Felicia King.
She is survived by her mother, Mattie Bell Harrison; her sisters, Mattie Roberta Spann, Marilyn Denise Griffith, Gail Anita Harrison and Phyllis Elaine Harrison; daughter, Tamille Barrett (LaMarr); son, Paul Harrison (Felicia); grandchildren, Simone Madden, Nia Madden, Paul Harrison Jr., Maia Barrett, Kalece Harrison and Kaleel Harrison.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road, SW, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. Visitation begins at 10 am followed by the Memorial Service at 11 am.
