1937- 2026

Blossom Fox Dovberg, age 88, recently residing in Buford, Georgia, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Abraham and Celia (Allison) Fox and her sister, Beverly. They later moved to Washington, D.C. Blossom attended John Philip Sousa Junior High School and Anacostia High School, before studying Dental Hygiene at Temple University. She worked as a Dental Hygienist until age 81 and loved her career, serving as President of Broward County Dental Hygiene Society. A lover of learning, she constantly attended continuing education classes and annually attended the Hinman Dental meeting in Atlanta.

Blossom was preceded in death by the love of her life, Jaime Fernandez. She is survived by her children: Diane Mallin, Eric Fish (Sonia), and Susan Roomberg (Leon), 6 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Beloved by all her family, she will be greatly missed. Her memorial service is planned for later this year in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. Donations to Magen David Adom would be greatly appreciated.

Georgia Cremation in Duluth assisted the family with arrangements.
