Carla Eunice Scott, age 58, from Riverside, CA passed away on January 14, 2022.
Carla Scott was raised in the City of Compton, CA where she graduated from Dominquez High School. After graduation, she attended nursing school and worked as a nurse for a small medical office. Eventually, she left the medical industry and began working as an Aircraft Mechanic with McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach, CA. During her employment with McDonnell Douglas, Carla was injured and began pursuing a successful career as a Property Manager.
To fully understand Carla is to know she was and still is a true Christian, a kind person, a giving person, and a loving person. If you needed anything, Carla was there for you. Carla’s beliefs for God never wavered. She believed in God until the very end. Carla’s walk with God began with the “Walk with Jesus Cathedral”. She became part of the ministry before it was a church. In the early days of the ministry, she attended revivals and was a constant at every church event. It was apparent to everyone that Carla’s faith grew and dedicated her life to the Lord. In her sweet quietness, she embraced her church family and the church embraced Carla. Carla’s pastor was a constant presence in her life, and she truly loved her pastor. Carla was an active member of the church and preferred working behind the scenes. It was rare that Carla would testify or speak in public, but her celebration of the Holy Spirit was real. Carla truly loved the Lord.
No more tears, no more pain. Rest In Peace, our beautiful and sweet angel. We will miss your smile, the “Side Eye” look and throwing of the shoe (a few people know about this joke), the uplifting spirit, and the enduring friendship. We Love You and Will Always Keep You in Our Hearts Always.

I read about Carla and felt I should write to you and the family. I did not know them but as part of my Christian ministry I want to offer you some words of comfort and hope as you grieve the loss of your loved one. The bible describes the world we live in at 2 Timothy 3:1-7. Perilous and critical times unlike any other time in history we have to deal with. Unfortunately Carla lost her life to death and I am sure your hearts are sadden.
The good news is that Our Creator can read Carla’s young and beautiful heart and He wants her to live forever.
Jesus, God’s son said at John 5:28-29 that in the future all those who’ve died will be resurrected. The bible further says that in the future the earth will be cleansed and full of God worshipping people.
(Psalm 37:10,11,29). We will live forever and death will be no more (Revelation 21:3-4). These promises from God are for us all. I hope you and the family find comfort and peace during this difficult time.
You will see her again! Please stay strong and keep praying my friend.
For more information and bible comfort please go to JW.org and search any bible question you want and I promise you will find the answers you need.
Your friend in Christ,
Cliff

Is strengthened and comforted.

Still haven’t completely wrapped my head around it. Carla was so sweet, always respected everyone, very caring, and giving. She always greeted me with a smile and and asked me how things were. Myself also being quiet, I feel like we understood each other in a way other people did not. I’m so happy to have known her and been apart of the same ministry Walk with Jesus Cathedral. She is truly missed. I’m praying for God’s comfort to her family and loved ones.

Carla it’s still feels unreal that you are gone. I thank God for our paths crossing at church and we became a family. We are going to miss your sweet quietness, your gentle support and your laughter. You are now in the presence of the One you love so much, Jesus Christ Himself. Stacey and Ms Ruth and the rest of the family, May God continue to comfort and strengthen you and us all during this time. The sun will shine again. Carla, Rest In Him.

Apostle Hailu says
It took me a while to even write on this wall. I just felt so broken behind this daughter. C•A•R•L•A 💔 She came into my life over 30 years ago first as a friend, then a ministerial follower, then a member of my/our church, Walk with Jesus Cathedral and finally a loving, supporting, caring spiritual daughter in The Lord. In all these years, she’s been loyal and faithful, and never left or turned her back on me or the church/ministry. Whenever I look at my son, it reminds me of the years I’ve know Carla* When I was carrying him at 8 months, she saw my belly move and got so excited and asked me , “can I feel the baby kick”? And of course I allowed it. WOW…. I miss her so much. She always checked in or checked on me. There is so much I can say about C•A•R•L•A, but I’ll cut it short. The one thing that I am most grateful for, is the fact that she came to know Jesus Christ in the parting of her sins. She excepted Jesus as Lord of her life and this is the reason we can carry on with hope concerning her. Because we know that” to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”. I want to say to Stacy, her sister, you have done an outstanding job in Carla’s last days here.. She loved you very dearly as she did the rest of her family. She has always petitioned the church for prayer for her family members one by one and name by name. I want Ruth, her mother, Stacy and Rhonda, her sisters, and Mann, her brother , And of course the rest of her family, to know that prayer of comfort is continually going up for the family. The Hailu family loved and appreciated the Genuine agape (Love) That Carla Scott have displayed and given to us * She will NEVER NEVER EVER be forgotten* God chose not to allow her to suffer long, so He called his precious daughter back to Him*
Good Night Carla, until we meet again**❤️

I miss you Carla. We were best friends in elementary school. Emerson elementary is where we met. I thank God for the time God gave us together. We had many phone calls. We also had a good time talking about God. I did not know that
God came and picked up.
