Carol Hill, age 82 of Duluth, Georgia passed on to be with Jesus on February 7, 2024.
Carol was born on October 14, 1942, in Medina, New York. She was the daughter of Leon and Irene Chatt. She had two brothers, Tony and Rusty, and one sister, Edilynn.
She lived a full childhood enjoying so many activities in school. Her favorites were cheerleading, ice skating, and swimming. She graduated from Riverside High School. As a young adult, she married and moved to Georgia where she raised her two children.
She had an amazing professional career working in publishing for over 20 years then for the City of Duluth for 15 years.
Even though she traveled, juggled work and friends, as a mother she was as constant as the sunrise and you could count on her. She was known for her love of Jesus and dedication to serving at her church, even volunteering countless hours in their food ministry. Her sense of humor was infectious and always had people laughing. She had this sarcastic way about her that would keep you on your toes. No matter what she always saw the best in everyone and left such an impression with her sweet spirit and kind heart.
She is survived by her children Bill and Tamala; her grandchildren, Devin and Alexis whom she adored and was so proud of.
Her memory will be forever treasured. To honor her we are asking to plant a tree in her memory. Please click here to visit https://www.alivingtribute.

She was a wonderful lady. Always had a smile and a kind word. Even though I hadn’t seen her in years, I’ll miss her.

So sorry to see that Carol has passed! She was a great friend and co-worker when we were both at Holt, Rinehart, and Winston. Sincere sympathy to the family! She was one in a million!
