Dad left us with many fond memories. He was intentional in creating special events and outings. Sunday afternoon drives, weekend trips and annual vacations were filled with fun and food…especially chili dogs and ice cream.
Those memories now bring me a sense of gratitude and appreciation for the long life he shared with a smile, a kind word or valuable instruction.
Thank you, “Papa T” for leaving a mark in our hearts that will continue to bring a smile to our face.

Dad was specially loved man who had a heart enlarged by his giving to others around him. And he had a real love for trading carsLol. He held fond memories of all the people from Highland County (Monterey) Virginia where he pastored the Church of God of Prophecy for several years. He loved kids and kids loved him. He would buy kids all the ice cream they could eat. And he enjoyed teaching young boys how to slurp cornbread and milk, to the dismay of their mothers 😂 he taught us boys how to catch catfish. He loved his church family. His passing leaves us with a big void in our lives. Rest In Peace dad. We’ll take it from here.

Uncle Ed was devoted to God and his family including his siblings. Most of them living in South Carolina….he made the trip many times down I-85 to attend reunions and funerals. I ask him one time about that drive and was it not a big much or unnerving…his answer “no, I just get in the left (passing) hand lane and keep going “😂. He enjoyed good health many years and served God faithfully. What a man!
