Stephen Christopher “Chris” Hudson, Jr., age 26, born February 8, 1991, in Minneapolis, Minnesota transitioned on October 19, 2017.
Chris grew up and spent most of his life in Minnesota, until recently moving to Atlanta, GA. He attended Mankato State University in Minnesota and was an avid reader with a strong passion for learning. Little known fact, Chris had a genius IQ 🙂 He was looking forward to making Atlanta his permanent home with his fiancée, Brittanie K. Stanley (Florida). Well-known and loved by many for his infectious smile and playful personality, Chris was a very dedicated father, brother, son and friend. His special love for his Mastiff named Reina was unbreakable and she watched over and protected him until the very end. His giving and loving spirit made him a blessing to his parents and a loving father to his two young daughters. While in Atlanta he worked as a realtor for Berkshire Hathaway.
To cherish his memory, Chris leaves his fiancée Brittanie K. Stanley (Florida), Mother Christal M. Dillard (Atlanta), Father Stephen C. Hudson, Sr. (Minneapolis), Brother Michael C. Hudson (Minneapolis/Atlanta), Daughters Aubrey M. Grosbusch – age 9 (Christine Grosbusch) and Arielle R. Hudson – age 4 (Asia Glaze) both of Minneapolis, Maternal Grandparents Lester L. and Pearle M. Dillard (Virginia) and Paternal Grandparents Donald E. and Constance J. Hudson (North Carolina). Chris also leaves his very special friend and confidant, Asia Glaze along with a host of many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested for the Special Trust Fund that has been set up for his precious daughters: Delta Community Credit Union, Routing #261071315, Account #573979-0030).
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church located at 3355 N 4th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55412. Visitation with family will be held at noon CT with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 PM CT.

I wanted to express my condolences to the family of Chris. It is not easy to suffer a loss like this. I do want to offer hope and comfort that only God’s word can give. Revelation 21:4 God promises to do away with this pain, sorrow, mourning, and even death itself forever. In fact this is a direct promise also found in John 3:16. Life everlasting is a hope we can be assured of. What about those who we have lost already. God also holds out a hope for our loved ones whom we have lost. This is at John 5:28,29. I encourage you to turn to God for comfort and hope.
Aubrey says
