Clark B Kimball of Columbus, GA passed away on Janunary 13, 2025. Funeral/Memorial Services are to be announced.
Clark was born June 3rd, 1963 in Weymouth, Massachusetts. He graduated from Sarasota High School in Sarasota, Florida in 1981 and began his education at Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy in the fall of the same year. Graduating in 1985, he traveled the world, sailing as a Merchant Marine. In 1990, Clark began a long career in Cyber Security.
Clark loved to travel, often visiting family and friends all over the country. He loved to explore the outdoors, geology, and was a talented photographer and avid collector. Clark also had an encyclopedic knowledge of a variety of subjects including, but not limited to, music, cinema, history, political history, and general pop culture. Playing Trivial Pursuit against Clark was a pointless endeavor. Clark had a wicked sense of humor and enjoyed a good turn of phrase and a prank.
Clark is preceded in death by his mother, Leah Ann Kimball, and his father Donald Smith Kimball II. Surviving family, who will miss him greatly, are sister Karin Kimball Smith, brother Donald Smith Kimball III, sister Dayna Kimball Haney, and sister Gayle Hunter Kimball, also nieces and nephews Nathan, John Albert, Ainslie, Zak, Elizabeth, Brandon, and Alyssa and their families.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Clark was a dear friend and the description of him is perfect. Clark was one of my brother’s closest friends and I always saw him as another brother. My fondest memories are of him taking me to the Sarasota Opera. He will be missed by me and my family.
