Claude Barrow, III, age 62 of Norcross, Georgia passed away on Wednesday September 17, 2014. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 21, 2014 in the Chapel of Georgia Cremation Duluth, Georgia. Visitation will be held form 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday September 21, 2014 at Georgia Cremation. Claude was born November 1, 1951 in Harlem New York. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on December 3, 1969 and served until March 16, 1973. While in the United States Marine Corps Claude served one tour in Vietnam and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Rifle Marksmanship Badge and the Pistol Marksmanship Badge. While at Camp Lejeune, Claude married his high school sweet heart Christine Irvin on September 17, 1971. He was preceded in death by Mother: Annie Helen Curtis and Step Father Joel G. Curtis; Brother: Tyrone B. Barrow and Raymond Curtis, Gregory Middleton; Sister Jackie Jackson, Lisa Middleton. He is survived by: Wife: Christine Barrow, Norcross, Georgia; Sons: Clyde (Robin) Barrow, Lawrenceville, Georgia, Claude Barrow, IV, Norcross, Georgia; Father: Claude Barrow, II, Hudson, New York; Siblings: Allan (LaVonne) Barrow, Sr., Munford, Tennessee, Melinda Curtis-Gadsen, Columbia, South Carolina, Victor (Betty) Barrow, New York, Angela (Dave) Curtis-Hooks, Moncks Corner, South Carolina, Darrin Barrow, Atlanta, Georgia, Dennis Barrow, Houston, Texas, Roslyn Barrow-Reid, New York, Danielle Middleton, New York, Craig Middleton, New York; Grandchildren: Christopher, Raven, Cayden, Raina.
