Hoke Cleveland Jones, Jr. (Cleve), age 63, of Sharpsburg, passed away April 13, 2021.
Cleve was born in Atlanta on February 20, 1958 to the late Hoke Cleveland Jones, Sr. and Barbara Jo Jones.
Cleve was a truck driver for 35 years, driving many years with Old Dominion. He was a simple man and a hard worker. He was a loving husband, father, and Paw Paw. Cleve enjoyed fishing, hunting and NASCAR. Cleve will be dearly missed by his wife, children and many grandchildren.
Cleve was survived by his wife of 40 years: Susan Jones of Sharpsburg; children: Hope (Mitchell) Jones, Michelle Jones, both of Sharpsburg, Lawanda (David) Anderson of Hampton, Robbie Jones (Zach Perry), and Jerry Jones (Trina Cason), all of Sharpsburg; grandchildren: Patrick, Taylor, Gavin, Brooklyn, Austin, Hailey, Raelynn, Lukas, Aamya, Emily and Maddie; sisters: Glynda (Allan) Kidd of Locust Grove and Lynn (Allen) Montgomery; step-mother: Betty Jones of Franklin; step-brother: Wayne Noogin of Franklin; Angie Lowrey of Franklin; brother-in-laws: David Bantin of Riverdale and Charles Bantin of Hampton; sister-in-law: Tina Watkins of Senoia. Soon after his passing, Cleve was joined by his late sister-in-law, Wendy Bantin.
Friends and family are invited to join together to celebrate Cleve’s life at 12:30 PM on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the pavilion at High Falls State Park in Jackson, Georgia. Cleve, you will be missed by so many, and will live on In every one’s hearts forever. I known you for so many years. You and Susan was always part of my family life for so long. I was so sorry to hear about Cleves passing. I was around him alot growing up. I remember he was such a sweet boy when my Sister (Helen) used to keep him while his Mom worked. My prayers are with the family.. There’s comfort in knowing that he is with Jesus now, and we’ll all see him again!
