In Loving Memory of Danny Lawrence Zant

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danny Lawrence Zant, who peacefully went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2025, at the age of 60.

Danny was born on October 3, 1964, in Atlanta, Georgia, and was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Alfred “Bud” Zant and Sandra Shipley Zant.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Carlene Zant and his children, Courtney Cooper (Tyler) and Adam Zant; his stepdaughter Darlene Siegel (Josh) and stepson William Hix. Danny was a proud grandfather to Jensen, Nik, and Mirra, who brought immense joy to his life.

Danny is also survived by his sibling: brothers Joel McDargh (Robin) and Ronnie Zant (Sherri), and Butch Roberts (Betty) and sister Diana McDargh, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will cherish his memory.

Danny will be remembered for his gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and the love he shared with all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be determined.
