Dave was my Kappa Phi and Alpha Tau Omega brother at West Georgia from 1969 until his passing. He was loved and respected by everyone. His smile lit up the room. What a personality!
I last spoke with Dave a couple of years ago when I called him about attending our upcoming fraternity reunion. I must have caught him on a good day because the conversation was so uplifting for me that I called Dan to see if he would pick up Dave and bring him to Carrollton. Of course he said yes, but in the end, time and distance prevented it from happening.
I will forever be grateful for the privilege of being one of Dave’s many friends and brothers.
    L & R.
