Deborah DeBlaso was born August 2, 1948 in Beaver County, PA. Deborah was a bright spirit from an early age. She loved to talk and was extremely outgoing, which suited her later career as a caregiver. She spent over 33 years as a Registered Nurse and many of those as Director of Nursing. Her family would describe her as a caregiver at heart, but not always the best patient. Deborah enjoyed the arts and crafts, whether it be crocheting a blanket or whipping up a fine meal from scratch. She enjoyed her nature walks with her beloved husband, David, and she had an affinity to swimming. Her biggest love was children, others but most importantly her children and grandchildren. She was a faithful member of Christian Life Church in Phenix City, Alabama until her health declined.
Deborah DeBlaso, 71, of Pine Mountain, Georgia passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019 at West Georgia Hospice in LaGrange, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Evalena Cantner.
Survivors include her husband, David DeBlaso; sister Judy (Tom) Lane, children; son Charles (Theresa) DeBlaso and daughter Julie (Marcus) Hudson; grandchildren, Brandon (Meranda) DeBlaso, Josh (Jennifer) Grosclaude, and Brittany Grosclaude; six beloved great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will hold a private service at a late date.
The DeBlaso family is being assisted by Georgia Cremation, 7500 Veterans Parkway, Suite A, Columbus, Georgia 31909, 706-577-0055. The family invites you to leave a condolence or share a fond memory of Mrs. Deborah below.
