Mr. Dennis Wade Jr. was born February 2, 1935 to the parents of the late Dennis Wade Sr. and Ester L. Wade. He was educated in the public schools of Fort Gaines. He was a prosperous Farmer for many years.
Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Louise Wade, Two brothers: Eugene James Wade and Walter Lee Thomas, Two Sisters: Minnie Pearl Pierce, and Mattie (Mae) Wade Acres.
He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. His life will forever be cherished by his loving and devoted Children: Joel (Darlene) Wade of Warner Robbins, Georgia, Ms. Mary Merritt of Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Matilda Wade Brown of Americus, Georgia, and Sarah Wade of Buena Vista, Georgia, One Brother: Benjamin (Mary) Wade, as well as his loving Grandchildren: Charles Welborn Jr, Lashanta Wade, Kenneth Wade, Brandon Merritt, Peen Wilbon, Cedric Davis, Joe Wade Jr, Twelve Great-Grandchildren, Five Great-Great Grandchildren, One Brother-in- law: Clifford Merritt of Americus, Georgia, Sister-in-laws: Shirley Merritt, Charlene Merritt, Johnnie Mae Hayes, all of Americus, Georgia, Julia (Edward) Hayes of Cobb, Georgia, Willie Mae Gamble of Atlanta, Georgia, A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many sorrowing friends. Including Devoted Friends: Marie English, Jennifer English, and Tamara English.

My condolences to my uncle Benjamin Wade and family of my home town Fort Gaines Ga thanks to my cousin Charles who called my brother to let us know our Dad had passed Dennis Wade Jr fathered 3 children with my mother James Wade , David Wade and myself Mary Wade Hutto we lived in Vienna Ga next to the peach orchard on HWY 27 just below the Turner family RIP Dad
