Derek Evan Wall, age 30, of Sharpsburg passed away December 21, 2019.
Derek was born on April 24, 1989. He spent his early childhood in Lawrenceville. At the age of 10, his family relocated to Peachtree City, where he attended McIntosh High School. He was a talented baseball player from his days in tee-ball and all the way up until middle school age. Recently Derek had been working for Studio 34, a furniture company, where he had become a valuable employee and skilled at many tasks within the store. In his role, he assembled and delivered furniture, installed carpeting and even worked in sales.
Derek was fun-loving and happy. He was a jokester with a sweet and gentle soul. He was a beautiful person who loved nature. Derek had a heart for animals, particularly his dogs Bodhi and the late Cokeco. He loved to have his morning coffee and was known to say, “It is what it is” and “Everything is going to be okay.” Derek will be deeply missed by many family and friends. He will always be remembered by his bright smile, warm hugs and quirky sayings.
