Don (DJ) Rupelt, age 54, of Fayetteville, GA, passed on April 30, 2019. DJ was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 30, 1965 to Sandra Rupelt. He loved his children Samantha, Amanda, and Marcus and had three grandchildren, all girls.

DJ loved life. DJ loved his mother. His mother was the key to his ambition and self-determination. He was proud to have served in the Army for almost 12 years, almost 3 years of that in Kuwait. He was decorated with Southwest Asia Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, National Defense Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Kuwait Liberation Medal. He loved Colorado, Arizona, and Georgia, but he said Georgia was his home. DJ always seemed to brighten the room when he got there and never left a stranger.

DJ was preceded in death by his aunt Debbie and uncle Bob. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother Sandra Rupelt, sister Donna, 3 children: Samantha, Amanda and Marcus, three granddaughters, aunt Alice, uncle Dave, aunt Kelly, uncle Jay, nephew Chad, cousins: David, Jr, Frankie, Lynda and Kristina, brother David, bestie Selena, and all of his friends.
