Donald Robert Martin, age 75, was born in Jacksonville, FL on March 10, 1942 and passed away on July 13,2017 after a brief illness in Newnan, GA.

He graduated from Ribault Sr. High School in 1961. Upon completing his service in the US Army during the Vietnam War, he worked as a locomotive engineer for CSX Railroad for 35 years.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Alice Walker Martin; children Marie and Bryan; daughter-in-law Chambliss; granddaughter, Juliette; siblings Betty Martin, Charles Martin and David Martin. Robert was a motorcycle enthusiast whose joy stemmed from riding the roads of this beautiful country.

Family and friends gathered in his home in Newnan, GA to celebrate the life of Robert.
